Welcome!
welcome!
Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, you are welcome here! At St. Mary’s, we value participation over perfection, relevance over ritual, and authenticity over appearances. Please contact our priest, Mother Hannah or anyone on our board (which we call a bishop’s committee) to learn more.
black indigenous & people of color
While we are not ethnically diverse, we are committed to ending racism, and we’re working to diversify. We’re educating ourselves about racism and privilege and how to dismantle systems that perpetuate racism.
godly play for kids
Godly Play teaches the Bible and the Christian faith through story, wonder and play. This creative, imaginative curriculum honors the centrality, capacity and competency of children. Sundays at 9:30am during the worship service.
Monthly Healing Service
The first Wednesday of every month at 11am, come hear prayers for healing, and offer your own. Listen to scripture, a brief homily and sing simple songs in the style of Taize.
OUTreach
Service to others is at the heart of St. Mary’s. We strive to follow Jesus who befriended the friendless, hung out with outcasts, and stood up for the marginalized. His example calls us to work toward a just and verdant world for all. We see Christ in those the world has forgotten and we consider it an honor to serve.
Climate conscious
At St. Mary’s we’re committed to caring for the earth, our only home. We partner with Sustainable Ramona to host events, and we’re currently working on a microgrid for Ramona, becoming a cooling center, and installing solar panels. Our gardeners compost as well.
community garden
Our gardeners grow flowers, fruits, vegetables and friendships! Plots are $60 per year; memberships begin every January. If you join later than January, no problem! We can prorate your plot cost. A few raised garden beds available.
Centering Prayer
Centering prayer, or Christian meditation, can be a profound way to connect with God in the company of others. We meet a few times each week to sit in silence and listen for God.
InclusivITY
St. Mary’s is a progressive, inclusive church. This means we welcome all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, skin color, socioeconomic status, ability, or any other differentiating factor. We believe God calls us to love one another, and to celebrate our differences! We aren’t perfect at it, but we are striving together.

episcopal church women
A spiritual, social and fundraising group, the ECW meets monthly, usually on the first or second Friday night. Our fall bazaar raises significant funds for those in need. All welcome, not just cis-gendered women.
Prayers & Squares
We meet every Tuesday, 10am - 1pm to make quilts for people who need prayer, and other items for the church and community. Ask about our long-arm. Prior sewing experience not required.
